“The best way to get rid of IE6 is to stop supporting it.” some may argue this is a bad move as our responsibility as Web Developers is to support our users and create a nice user experience when navigating through our websites. I completely agree with this statement but I can’t agree to keep supporting a browser that has no respect whatsoever to my work and makes me waste countless hours trying to get things to work correctly on it.
My plan: Every new client that I get is being upgraded to IE7 or FireFox, depending on their usage and thanks to some Racists Websites that don’t work on any other browser except IE.

We should make it a requirement: “If you want may services, upgrade your browser”
I’ve been trying to convince people to stop supporting IE for ages. I just don’t see why they struggle with such a simple concept. They curse IE6 while making their sites work on it, not realising that the very act of making their sites work on IE6 prolongs the existence of IE6.
We should really sue microsoft for not calling end-of-life on IE6 as until they do all the corporates are still going to use it thus making all our lives hell.
Can’t MS just demonstrate the true IE6, IE7 or even IE8 to the world and then just redirect itself to a better and safer web browser. Maybe not since they wouldn’t sell any OS higher than XP.
